Ornella Grosz, PMP

Director, Enterprise Business Technology

Melbourne, Florida

Director-level roles in enterprise business technology, marketing technology operations, Salesforce, and operations — wealth, retirement, and insurance.

Summary

Enterprise operations director with a decade-plus track record across WealthTech operations, retirement, and global marketing technology. Lead post-M&A integration, Salesforce, WealthTech and MarTech transformation, and responsible AI governance — translating executive vision into engineered, measurable operating models. Accountable for program health, budgets, vendor governance, and the sustained change that follows go-live.

Experience

  • Director, Enterprise Business Technology

    Apr 2025 – Present

    Alera Group

    • Lead the business-technology function: 4 direct reports, a consulting partner, and three vendors, against a $2M technology budget influenced — work that has to show up in efficiency, value, and executive reporting.
    • Cut about $150K (25%) from a ~$600K legacy CRM run-cost after Redtail and other CRMs moved into Salesforce — licenses, admin time, and duplicate data work once the old systems were no longer the operating system.
    • Own enterprise Salesforce transformation, directing Salesforce administrators, business systems analysts, and development engineers: a Center of Excellence, ten net-new business processes, and CRM migration from Redtail and other systems. Reallocated existing budget to specialized Salesforce capacity.
    • Run post-M&A technology transitions with the deal in the plan: pro forma assumptions, EBITDA targets, and synergies sequenced into advisor transitions, billing, compensation, and operations. Centralized direct billing and advisor compensation across a ~$24M revenue base; reduced operational costs 25% through process optimization and automation.
    • Partner across Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing. Stood up SSO and Salesforce security posture with InfoSec, compliance guardrails, and a responsible-AI governance model for firm-wide adoption.
  • Consultant

    Nov 2024 – Mar 2025

    EP Wealth Advisors

    • Delivered the Salesforce CRM deployment and migrated more than 20 million records from Practifi and HubSpot to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • Redesigned lead routing and journey builders; lead conversion time down 35%, with a cleaner marketing-to-sales handoff.
    • Led CRM work for advisor sales workflows, client acquisition, and reporting analytics, with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on the roadmap.
    • Ran Agile delivery with Salesforce administrators, business systems analysts, and development engineers for CRM enhancements, data migration, and integrations to BI and downstream financial systems, with data integrity as a named risk.
  • Director, Marketing Technology Operations

    Feb 2022 – Aug 2024

    Akamai Technologies

    • Directed Marketing Technology Operations for a global revenue stack (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesloft, 6sense, LeanData). Acquisition, scoring, routing, nurturing, and SDR/MQL automation ran as one system.
    • Improved operational efficiency 40% through implementation of new systems and workflows.
    • Consolidated duplicative marketing tools and led change management for major MarTech rollouts, including quarterly reviews that tied spend to gaps and value.
    • Owned data hygiene and privacy (GDPR, CCPA) and the legal, security, IT, and procurement path for new tools. Partnered with Sales Operations on qualification and handoff.
    • Designed the Agile operating cycle for a global revenue tech stack, built the MarTech and AI-tool roadmap, and worked with the website team on SEO, GEO, and content priorities that needed real capacity.
  • Director of Enterprise Operations

    Sep 2013 – Jan 2022

    MissionSquare Retirement

    • Led digital transformation of enterprise operations, improving operational efficiency 35% and reducing process bottlenecks 40%.
    • Deployed Salesforce and ran the sales-operations systems that kept pipeline, data, and reporting usable across departments for the duration of the role.
    • Operated Seismic as the enterprise content platform: intake, tagging, compliance review, expiration, and Salesforce integrations. Advisors worked from current, supervised content.
    • Built the operating cadence around data accuracy, reporting integrity, and tool sprawl. Trained sales and operations teams until adoption held after each rollout.
    • Aligned sales, operations, and compliance on one process for CRM and advisor content. Salesforce and Seismic ran as one system.
